Google promised to deliver something spectacular on the second day of the Google I/O conference, and they did not disappoint. Google has already announced the Google Wave. Google Wave is a brand new in-browser communication and collaboration tool.Which will be the next evolution of email and IM.

Google Wave is created by two of the guys which has already made an awesome thing Google Maps. They prepared it with a small team in Sydney. The main concept behind this Google Wave application is to make a new communicating tool on the web. And it's also a hybrid form of the old email, web chat and IM. The Google Wave also can be use as a managing tool for different projects and designs etc. it's a new real-time communication platform.
Google Wave having many aspects like email, instant messaging, wikis, web chat, social networking, and project management, all in one in-browser communication client. The features don't stops there; Google Wave also supports the main ability of drag and drop. Drag the attachments from your desktop into Google Wave & it loads that file and sends it immediately to the person in conversation. it is also embeddable, so we can embed Google Wave conversation or a wave to any blog.

Google Wave looks familiar with Gmail and somewhat to orkut. But here the more focus is on the contacts. As shown here in the screen-shot, you can see the faces of your contacts in the left sidebar. And about the conversation, its really a good thing in it. Which will really everyone is gonna love. As said before, the Google Wave is a real-time conversation and collaborating tool. Real-time mans during the conversation it shows the message on the screen character-by-character instead of waiting till the person completes the whole message and sends it. And by this way it creats the Waves. The another major new thing is any participant of a wave can reply anywhere within the message & can edit any part of the wave. Multiple participants may edit a single wave simultaneously in the Google Wave. In this manner the waves not only functions as e-mails and threaded conversations but also like as an instant messaging service.

" Google Wave Developer Preview presentation at the Day 2 Keynote of Google I/O 2009 "

Here's the a long preview of the Google Wave's first preview presentation at the day 2 of Google I/O 2009. The preview is really interesting, and in the video mainly all the major features are explained. jst check it out.

The Key thing in Google Wave is of real-time conversation and collaboration. It an ideal tool for the different business groups and teams as well. Like an entire office having Google Wave and they can quickly share and receive files.

One another thing, which is really good that is Google wave is a Open source with a lot of API integration, allowing the public to develop its features through extensions. So hopefully we will definitely get some dreamy and important tools by this way.

I know you must be thinking that how to get the Google Wave..??

But you are going to have to wait a while though. Google Wave is still in active development and is expected to remain in development until later in 2009. It was launched to about 100,000 users on September 30, 2009. And its not available to the public till the late this year. right now it's only available to a selected group of developers, who will be able to create their own Wave servers.

But there's a way, Google Wave access can be requested. Developers have been given access to Wave. and all wave users invited by Google can nominate up to 20 other poples.i'm gonna my one in the near future. If you also wants an invitation just leave a comment here, with your some details so i can select from, because the number of invitation is limited so in this phase it should be first useful to developers and rich users.
