In order to activate this option, Follow the steps below.
1, Log into your Gmail account.
2, Under Personal Settings - Security, click on the Password recovery option.
3, 3 options will be there, Email, SMS and Sequrity question.
4, Go to the second option and select the country from the dropdown menu and also add your mobile number.
5, And tick on the Use this phone number for password recovery via text message.
6, Then click on save button & you are done.
