We all are using Skype for chatting and mainly for calling. The video calling option is very useful. In short Skype is quite very famous among all those others, and Skype keeps on adding new features to it by launching new versions. And this time a very big step is taken by the Skype by launching the new beta version of Skype 5.0

A much awaited feature of group chat is added to Skype by a must have requests to the skype by many users. The previous version was with many intresting features, the best was the multiple users audio conference, but this time the Skype 5.0 is equiped with group video calling. In which each user will be able to do the audio and video conference with each participants.

The Skype video calling feature is currently available in the beta version, which mean that it may contain some rough edges and some time it may still contain some bugs.

The group video calling will work only if each of the caller having the Skype beta 5.0
And it will support the video calling upto 5 way group video call.

By this latest version, you can bring all the friends to gather for chat, or the whole family at the same time togather for launch or even for birthday, from across the whole world directly from your desk.

The group video calls can started using the add button to invite people into the conversation and then clicking the video call button.

The new group video call feature requires a considerable fast internet connection and a resonably new computer system, but they have developed the software like it can be use on a variety of system.

This new feature is the only in a beta (pre - release) version. Many other premium features are also there which will be available in the Final release of the Skype 5.0, which will be roll out in the near future of 2010.

The group video calling feature has been anounced for the Mac owners in this later part of the year.
